Tasco Offshore 54 binoculars incorporate a range-finding reticle and an illuminated compass to keep you on course day or night. Magnetic compass with hard metal tip is liquid-dampened, and has a deviation of only +/-1º. Nonreflective Rubicon ruby coating on the objective lenses improves contrast, due to supression of unwanted UV glare. Rubber armored, and has finger impressions for a secure grip. Porro prisms. Field of view: 366'. Weight: 36.3 oz. Individual eye focus. Include fold down eye cups, attached lens caps, lens cloth, deluxe case, adjustable strap and tripod adapter fitting.

- Porro Prism System.ÊÊThe Porro system is characterized internally by the use of a combination of two right-angle Porro prisms and, externally, by the offset positioning of the eyepieces from the objective lenses.
- 7.1mm Exit Pupil Diameter.ÊÊThe exit pupil diameter is the number attained by dividing the objective lens diameter by the magnification. The exit pupil appears as the bright circular area inside the eyepiece. The larger the exit pupil, the better it is for use in poor light.
- Fully/multi-coated Lens Coating.ÊÊOptical coatings reduce reflection both internally and externally and thereby increase the amount of light that reaches the eye which improves brightness and contrast. All air-to glass surfaces have multiple films in a fully/multi-coated system.
- Waterproof.ÊÊTasco® waterproof binoculars have been hermetically sealed and nitrogen charged to remain dry when submersed in water.
- Rubicon coated objective lenses.ÊÊThis coating consists of 14 layers of multi-coating on the objective lenses and is characterized by ruby-red coloring on the objectives. It provides excellent bright daylight and glare conditions viewing because it filters out red light.
