The TURNCOUPLE® assembly is a new and unique way to connect and disconnect the hoses and pipes used on boats. This item is ONLY the coupler used to join the two adaptors.The direction of rotation to open the assembly is embossed on the coupler barrel with an arrow big enough that it can be felt if the fitting is not easy to see. Ribs facilitate tightening by hand or with a wrench. Perforations in the flanges accept a pin spanner, and allow locking of the assembly together once installed Æ use a wire tie, cotter pin, seizing wire or a lock.
