Magnetic compass with hard metal tip is liquid-dampened, and has a deviation of only +/-1º, making it a highly accurate navigational tool to have onboard.

Nonreflective Rubicon® ruby coating on the objective lenses improves contrast, due to supression of unwanted UV glare. Rubber armored, and has finger impressions for a secure grip. Porro prisms.
